RCSIs 1916 exhibition, "Surgeons and Insurgents - RCSI and the Easter Rising", was launched by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Brendan Carr, in Dublin City Library and Archive, Pearse Street, on Wednesday 13th July
The event was attended by members of Captain Christopher Pooles, one of the insurgents from the Rising, family. Meadhbh Murphy, RCSI Archivist, gave an insightful lecture at the event. The exhibition will stay in Pearse Street until 26th August when it will move to Ballyfermot Public Library, where it will remain until the end of September.
